Kim calls the Washington Metropolitan (DMV) area home, more specifically Sterling, VA. She has been in multicultural affairs and higher education for over 10 years and enjoys working with students. Prior to coming to Charlotte, Kim served as the Associate Director of ALANA Services at Loyola University Maryland for 6 years and as the Assistant Director of the Center for Multicultural Student Services at James Madison University (JMU) for three years.
I love sunrises, oceans, books--a good mystery novel and a cup of tea, cinematic movie scores, quilting--creating masterpieces from small bits of cloth, mastering the art of peace, and so much more. My greatest joy is family and friends.

Carlos received his Masters in Higher Education Administration and Bachelors in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He's originally from Puerto Rico but came to Charlotte via Springfield, MA. He is a multidimensional professional who is student centered and is passionate about education, student empowerment, and believes in being an authentic leader.
Rachael is a first-time North Carolina resident. Prior to coming to Charlotte, Rachael resided in Cortland, New York where she served as a Residence Hall Director and the Interim Assistant Director for the Multicultural Life and Diversity Office at SUNY Cortland. Rachael received her Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and her Master's of Science in Education in English as a Second Language from SUNY Cortland, where she also studied Spanish.
