American In Transition: A Day of Trans Activism

American In Transition is an interactive documentary series and community-building initiative exploring social change from the perspective of trans people in intersectional communities. AIT will visit UNCC to screen a film, lead a workshop about trans inclusion, and present on the lives of trans people in the US. In the current political climate this conversation is more important than ever.

Advocacy in an Era of Uncertainty

Join the LGBTQ+ Faculty Staff Caucus and the MRC as they host "Advocacy in an Era of Uncertainty."

This multi-session event lends itself to discussing recent trends/statistics around racial equity, exploring advocacy with an intersectional lens with local and campus organizations, and discussing the importance of and barriers to self-care as we work towards social change.
